Dr. Ardon is a double board-certified psychiatrist and the founder and CEO of Mar Y Sol Mental Health Experts. She believes that every person can create the life they want and uses that belief to guide her work as a psychiatrist. But she doesn't just believe this - she works diligently to help every client achieve their dreams.

As a young girl in Guatemala, Dr. Ardon dreamed of becoming a doctor, and she knew education was the way to make it happen. After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Ardon navigated acculturation and learning English so she could attend Marymount College and graduate with a Pre-Med degree.

Well, on her way to achieving her lifelong dream, Dr. Ardon attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. She trained in adult psychiatry at Cabrini Medical Center/Mount Sinai Hospital, Westchester Medical Center at New York Medical School. She trained in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry at Yale Child Study Center.

In her career, Dr. Ardon has helped countless children, teens, and adults learn that with the proper help and treatment, they can regain control of their thoughts and emotions and create a life that fulfills them. The beliefs that guide her work as a psychiatrist include:

• With the right support, everyone is capable of achieving their dreams.

• The situation you’re born in doesn’t determine the trajectory of your life.

• You have choices, but it’s up to you to seize them.

• Psychiatric medications work in conjunction with psychotherapy to help you rewire your brain and your life to get back on track and achieve your goals.

Dr. Ardon takes an unconventional approach to psychiatry and has effectively served patients and clients working at Family and Children’s Aid as a child psychiatrist, New Milford Hospital as the behavioral health medical director, as the medical director for IOP: intensive outpatient program at Danbury Hospital, and Regional West Medical Center in Nebraska. In addition to running her private practice, Dr. Ardon sees patients at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT, and Regional West Medical Center in Nebraska.

Dr. Ardon treats patients in Connecticut, New York, Florida, and Nebraska via telehealth and in-person in Connecticut. She offers services in both English and Spanish.
